Trails and Greenways
The
City of Walker is geographically positioned to be hub of the west
Michigan regional trails and greenways network. Plans are in the
works to connect the White Pine Trail, the
Musketawa
Trail, and
Kent Trails. Access to all of these trails will converge in
Walker's City Central Park. The planned trails and greenways will
serve both as a recreational outlet, and as an alternative
transportation network. The trails will connect urban, suburban, and
country areas to parks, schools, business districts, and other
points of interests.
